This is an antique cast metal sculpture of a classical figure of a seated woman. This wonderful little piece does not have any marking to indicate maker or year.The statue stands 6 1/4 inches tall and about 5 1/4 inches in total length.

Metal Lady Ansonia Mantle Clock Topper Figurine | Woman Victorian Gold Sculpture. These types of statues sat atop a mantle clock. Casting is hollow, with an open base. Please note that the finish is painted over base metal, NOT the more expensive gilt bronze that it is meant to imitate. The finish shows some wear at the figures nose and other high points, such as the drape of her skirt. There is wear from age, please see pics.
